Stretch Marks and Scars

Scarring is a natural part of the healing process when recovering from an injury. Scarring can be almost invisible when only superficial parts of the skin have been injured. Full thickness dermal injury always results in a visible scar.

Stretch marks are a type of scar that occurs when rapid tearing of the dermis stretches collagen fibres. Stretch marks affect all skin colours, types and conditions and may appear as red or purple lines that fade to a white colour over time.

Most scars and stretch marks are ideally suited for laser treatment. A multimodal approach including skin needling and Platelet Rich Plasma treatment may sometimes be necessary.

The yellow light helps to generate collagen, the essential protein to return elasticity to your skin.

As collagen generation is stimulated our Dual Laser technology simultaneously treats skin pigmentation. The extravasation and reabsorption of the microvasculature in the epidermis and upper dermis will cause your skin to appear lightened and more youthful.
